Welcome to Farzu's Kitchen

Our Story
Farzu (Farzana) is my mom, and she loved to cook. She strongly believed that the best way to show love and care for someone was to feed them.
Hi! My name is Natasha. I live in Sugar Land, Texas, with my husband, Burziz, and our two kids. Since we moved to the United States from India in 2003, one thing that has kept us connected to our roots and culture is our Parsi food. It didn't matter that we each worked two jobs or had long hours; our Sundays were always dedicated to enjoying Dhanshak with our loved ones. On auspicious days, we would indulge in Ravo, Sev Dahi, and Mora Dal Chawal or Pulao.
Dishes like Sali Marghi, Gravy Cutlets, Surti Papri (Umbaryu), Malido, and Marghi Na Farcha are favorites that my kids often ask for and have many fond memories associated with.
I started Farzu’s Kitchen with the support of my husband and kids because, like my mom, it’s my way of showing love and care. I hope Mom is smiling down on us from heaven, and that all the bold, delicious recipes she taught me continue to warm your hearts.
